It's nearly one year since I bought hyve storm mobile phone. It runs stock android and has excellent 13 mp back camera. It was quite useful too. A few days back, the battery began to swell and the phone does shut down randomly. It wont hold charge even for 2 minutes. And began the search for a new battery and the rude shock came just then. The company which manufactures the phone has shut down the operation. Online search also did not yield much results. One or two alternatives appeared in Maxbhi website. But I didn't feel like going for unoriginal battery.
Carefully analysing the mobile phone warranty cover showed that service is provided by a company called servify. Exchanged few messages via twitter and they were not willing to repair the phone or give me a new battery. I was quite surprised as the warranty manual even talks about insurance in case of phone damage. All Servify had to say was the brand is shut down and they can't do anything about the same.
Adieu to Hyve storm. The experience was quite fine.
A quick look at amazon shows Honor 7c listed in main page
But I would rather prefer a phone which has offline stores too as spare part availability won't be a problem.
